Weekly Meditation Classes – advice for a happy life

Wednesdays at 7.30pm

with Resident Teacher Gen-la Dekyong

Classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators.
Everyone is welcome. During the classes the teacher will explain how
to meditate and will give practical instructions on how to use meditation,
and Buddhist understanding to reduce stress and other problems
encountered in daily life. Most classes run for an hour and a half.
The classes are self-contained so you can drop in any week.

Increase your peace Feb 8 – 29
Learn practical methods to discover and train in the secret of real happiness – inner peace and contentment -
giving us the skill to become the positive, joyful and loving person we wish to be.

Freedom from painful emotions Mar 7 – Apr 4
Buddha taught that our suffering and difficulties come about due to uncontrolled and painful states of mind.
Develop good mental habits and overcome these negative states until we no longer experience them at all.

Practical advice for everyone, presented in a way that is clear and easy to understand, and that functions as real medicine for the mind, to increase joy, energy and benefit in daily life. Refreshments will be served afterwards in our Conservatory Cafe.
