We are committed to providing a beautiful and uplifting environment for the general public to enjoy.
Everybody is welcome to visit the Priory, its grounds, Temple and other facilities throughout the year.
We offer accommodation and tasty food presented at reasonable rates and delivered by voluntary staff motivated by the wish to be of service to others.
The essence of Buddha’s teachings is to practise loving-kindness and thereby to make others happy. One easy way to do this is to provide travellers and visitors with whatever they need for a comfortable and refreshing journey.
Visitors can discover the simple kindnesses provided by the voluntary workforce at Manjushri KMC when eating or drinking at the Conservatory Cafe in the main Priory building or at the World Peace Cafe in the nearby town of Ulverston.
