Temple
The Kadampa Buddhist Temple at Manjushri Centre is the first of its kind in the West.
The design symbolises the pure world (mandala) of a Buddha and is decorated with auspicious symbols.
The centrepiece is a large statue of Buddha with his two Bodhisattva disciples.
It is a place of unusual beauty that has profound spiritual meaning.
The Temple provides a place for quiet reflection and spiritual inspiration. It is used every day for meditation and prayers and is open to the public every afternoon. Please see opening times.
‘Just looking at the Temple with a happy mind brings inner peace’
