Visiting Manjushri KMC
Historic Conishead Priory is home to Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre. Visitors to the Centre can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the romantic gothic house set in fine gardens and extensive woodlands that lead down to the shores of Morecambe Bay. We offer a wide range of accommodation including single, twin and dormitory rooms. Disabled facilities are available. The Temple and ground floor of the main house is wheelchair accessible.
What to bring with you
Bedding and towels are provided in single, twin and double rooms, but if you are staying in a dormitory please bring a sleeping bag and towel. All accommodation includes three vegetarian meals a day, served in the Centre's communal dining room. With prior notice it is sometimes possible to provide for special dietary requirements. Please enquire when booking.
